The Metal

I'm not a huge metal fan. I don't know the ins and outs of the genre. But I know when I like what I hear. I dig Power Metal. I dig DragonForce. Behold: Operation Ground and Pound. The full song's much longer than this, and you lose some of the solos, but still... you'll get the gist. Talk about some crazy f**king guitar work...

While I like Dragonforce a lot, without a question I like Sonata Arctica more. If you want to give them a listen, go for one of their older albums like Ecliptica or Winterheart's Guild, or even Reckoning Night (just not Unia really, as it's a much different sound than the rest of it.) If you like Dragonforce, you'll most likely like Sonata Arctica.

P.S. My favorite Dragonforce song is Revolution Deathsquad :)

I was about to say it sounds like Sonata Arctica, but Kant beat me to it. I lean more toward other types of metal, but SA's got a few songs I really enjoy.
